Training of Trainers: Day 3 – Applying Insights in the Field

On the final day of the Training of Trainers (ToT) on Social Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) strategy, participants had the opportunity to apply what they had learned directly in the field.

In small teams, they conducted socialization sessions with BKB cadres in nearby villages, introducing the 16 nudge interventions designed to encourage greater caregiver participation in BKB classes. Participants also shared printed visual materials and collected structured feedback from cadres to better understand their perspectives and needs.

The day continued with discussions on each district’s Follow-Up Action Plan (RTL), where participants outlined concrete steps to cascade the training to PKB/PLKB and cadres in their own regions.

Day 3 marked an important transition from theory to practice, and from training rooms to real community contexts.
