Role position: Research Associate

Job Type: Full-time, 8 hours/day, 9 AM to 5 PM (flexible)

Working location: Remote (with flexibility to travel)

Career level: Entry to middle level

Years of experience: 1-2 years

Probation: 3 months

This candidate should be able to conduct experiments to supplement work when necessary and analyze various points of data to establish findings. This candidate should also have effective writing skills in order to write research proposals and create reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director in managing tasks/admin-related works.
• Liaise with digital content makers to ensure updated n+ content on all n+ digital platforms (social medias, website, YouTube, etc.)
• Involved in research mentoring sessions for any commissioned magang riset Kampus Merdeka program and organise completed research and compiled it into a policy brief-like document.

Research-related tasks:

• Explore potential collaboration with other institutions or funding opportunities, and develop proposals accordingly. If commissioned, the candidate will coordinate with Directors and other n+ associates to conduct the study.
• Manage day-to-day research activities and work with interns should it is needed.
• Develop the report and prepare the manuscript to be published.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Economics/Psychology/other behavioural science-related-subjects.
• Minimum 1-year experience in research; academic and/or commercial research.
• Familiar to conduct both quantitative and qualitative, and experimental methods.
• Familiar to conduct any of these inferential statistical tools: Stata, R, SPSS.
• Experienced in running experimental research and impact evaluation is a plus point.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Incentives for any commissioned project/study, maximum at 50% of monthly salary.
• Holiday allowance, full one month salary after 12 months working period. Prorated for working period less than 12 months.
